I am Dr.Ajay Panwar,a neurologist,here to answer your query.
If your wife would have presented to me as an outpatient,I would have told that urinary tract infection is unlikely to cause such symptom.Does your wife has a past history of Diabetes or Spinal disc disease?
I would be glad to have you in follow-up with further details so that I can answer this well further.

She does not have any diabetic conditions but she does have bad Degenerative Disk in the Lumbar Area.
Brief Answer:
Degenerative lumbar spine disease is the likely cause
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for being in follow-up.
Degenerative lumbar spine can cause nerve radicular involvement and such symptoms. That's the probable cause for the same.Keep observing and if the symptoms persist, repeat MRI and medicines may be given.
Hope that helps. If you have any further questions,I shall be glad to have you in follow up.
