What Causes Burning Sensation On Labia Minora?

Question: Allergic reaction on labia minora?
I had started using the summer eves wipes a couple of weeks ago after I peed (almost every time, unless I wasn't home), after the shower, before bed, and sometimes just randomly. I mean, I went crazy with it.
Well I noticed that I gradually started to get a burning sensation on my labia minora (all over, from the vagina to the clitoris) so I stopped using them a week ago.
This past week has been miserable. I have experience the worst itching I have ever endured. It's been complete agony.
Today I noticed that small parts are "peeling". I say that because when I looked at the spots it reminded me of when your skin peels after a sunburn. My clitoris is peeling too and it's itching very very very bad.
Do you think this is a reaction to the wipes? The spots aren't sores, or cuts, or blisters that would suggest herpes (of course, I can't be certain it's not since I'm not a doctor). Besides going to a doctor, what do you suggest I do? I know the scratching is making it worse, but vagisil isn't working. This is really the most uncomfortable I have ever been and i am at my wits end.

Brief Answer:
It might be a allergic reaction to wipes

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to healthcare magic.I understand your concern.
In my opinion it might be allergic reaction to
wipes. The intense itching, dryness of skin ,sunburn like picture and peeling of skin might suggest this. The perineal region skin is very sensitive. So repeated wiping with medicated wipes might have caused injury and allergy.Though the wipes are thought to be sensitive repeated usage is not advisable as they contain chemicals along with citric acid. They are to be used only when definitely needed like when outdoors or no time to shower etc.
Routinely after urination you can gently wash with water and wipe with soft cloth smoothly. And at the time of bathing you can wash thearea with mild soap.
For now you can apply mild moisturizer in the area to releive from dryness and peeling.Take antiallergics like cetrizine to releive from itching two times a day.Wear loose cotton innergarments till it subside.Applying corticosteroid ointment on the area also releives itching.
Mostly it might take 3 to 4 days to subside. If not you can consult doctor for further course of management.
Hope this satisfies your query.
