What Causes Burning Sensation On Lower Left Side Of Stomach?

Question: Burning on the lower left side of my stomach
Brief Answer:
The pain may be related to gastritis, start antacids...
Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read your query very carefully and try to understand your problems.
My primary impression is that the pain may be related to gastritis. However other problems like malabsorption, colitis etc. should be excluded.
If you were my patient I would recommend to do the following examinations:
- Blood work
- Abdominal Echo
- Upper endoscopy
This will help to find out the proper diagnosis.
Meanwhile my advice is to start antacids OTC (malox) to relieve stomach ache and to avoid spicy food. This will be of help till you do the mentioned examinations.
Hope this was of help!
Wish you health!
