Brief Answer:
It could be allergic reaction.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to the HCM.
Thanks for posting your query on HCM.
What you have mentioned your symptoms and signs can occur due to allergic reaction.
As this reaction may occur due to any food substance, medicine, peanut, chocholate or any thing which causes immune system to react and produce some chemical substances in body which may cause these symptoms.

To rule out that ;I would like to ask that could you remember anything or factor which might trigger these symptoms? Had you taken any medicine or meal before these symptoms? For how long you have been noticing these symptoms?

These symptoms can be treated with antihistamine medicine and rashes and itchiness can be reduced with cold compresses and hydrocortisone cream.

I would also like to suggest that if these symptoms worsen then prompt medical help is must to rule out the signs of Anaphylaxis (severe allergic reaction) ,which may need injection epinephrine immediatly, other wise mild symptoms can be treated with antihistamines and cold compresses and corticosteroid cream.

Hopefully my answer will be helpfull, please do ask if I need to clarify you more.
Best regards,
Dr.Maheshwari

Brief Answer:
Different person's immune system responds differently.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking again.
It depends how immune system respond to the triggering factor.Sometime if a person is sensitive to something and if that substance is ingested then body immune system responds in minutes and the person gets these symptoms within couple of minutes.

Otherwise sometime it may take longer even hours to couple of days to react on that particular triggering factor.

Like wise as the histamine is main chemical
produced in response to reactive action of immune system ,so taking antihistamine medicine may respond accordingly.

With best regards,
Dr.Maheshwari
