Question : Hello,
My name in XXXX. I am 54 years old, pretty good shape maybe could lose 15 lbs? Rarely get sick.
For about a month I have been experiencing a burning sensation in my upper back. I don't have chest pain but burning on the surface . This occurs mostly at night and I have night sweats but I'm also going thru Menopause:( This weekend has gotten worse?tri

The symptoms you suggest are due to perimenopause.

There is lack of hormone called estrogen which causes these symptoms. I prefer you start on Hormone replacement treatment (HRT) for some time which will help you to overcome these symptoms.

I am on hormone replacement. This is a very specific area middle upper back that I have a burning sensation on the surface. It happens mostly at night? It's been going on for about a month and getting worse.

With all due respect. Please hear what I am saying. I am on hormone replacement already. I have been for 1 year. This is a burning sensation in my upper middle back. It feels like it's on the surface of my skin and mostly occurs at night. Since I've had night sweats on going for over a year, I can't be sure that this burning is causing me to sweat. The burning sensation started slowly about 1 month ago and has progressively gotten worse.

I understood what you are trying to say. Let me explain more in detail.

The burning sensation in some focal parts of body ( upper back in your case) are result of estrogen deficiency. Some people get this in different places.

So please alter and increase HRT dose or use estrogen cream at back. Since your dosage was for one year back it needs to be supplimented.

Night sweats and burning at back will reduce with this
