Question : Yes, I have a burning sensation that was first noticed under my right arm which had me feeling like I had a rash. The skin is sensitive there. it has since spread to my right shoulder blade area. Brief Answer:
Don't be concerned....

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX,

If you don't see a rash and external skin changes, the burning sensation is most likely from a neurological cause. Proceed with the appointment tomorrow. Your doctor will perform a local / systemic examination and run some blood tests / radiological investigations to find the cause. Most often the cause is unknown. In a few cases it may be related to pinched nerve, vitamin deficiency, a viral infection, metabolic disturbance and other common inflammation.
You might be started on vitamin b12 supplements and a drug to reduce these sensation.

Don't be worried. From the history provided, I don't see any sinister concerns.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.

Regards
