Question : My husband gets burning sensation while urinating post sex which is continued for a day or two and then goes away on its own. This problem is contined from Feb 2014. He has a history of untreated minor stone in the same month. is this something related to untreated stone problem or am i having an infection as i have no sign of white discharge / foul smell. Please let me know what to do further to diagnose the problem.

Brief Answer: Possibility of urethritis, needs tests Detailed Answer: Hi thanks for coming to HealthCareMagic. It seems to me that your husband has a Urinary Tract Infections secondary to the presence of the stone. I do believe that the two may be related. In the mean time I would ask your husband to go to the lab and get a 'Urinalysis' done. AFTER the urinalysis have him take Syrup Citralka twice a day (it is over the counter medication). If the Urinalysis shows an infection, we will get a culture and start antibiotics. If there is no infection then you will need to be seen by a Urologist for further testing. I hope this helps Vinay
