What Causes Burp And Trickling Throat Sensation?

Question: I have difficulty in breathing for 2 and half years from now asthma medication doesn't work for me.i don't know what to do already er 2 times and they say it's panic attack. Why I have constant clearing of my throat and it's look like I had something in my throat.and when I burp there's white thing in saliva coming out sometimes. I taking Ativan for my anxiety. But still I have shortness of breath.i want my life back to normal.

Brief Answer: Seems to be associated GERD also. Detailed Answer: Hi, Thanks for posting the query on HCM. After going through your query, I would like to comment the following: 1. If your Pulmonary function test and Xray chest are normal then it is possible that your asthma is controlled or you do not have asthma. 2. Considering you history of burp and trickling throat sensation there is a possibility of associated GERD. And medications for GERD may provide symptomatic relief. If the symptoms are persistent then you can go for HRCT scan of the thorax which if normal will rule out any pathology in the lungs. 3.
