Brief Answer:
Breast - fat tissue injury or tumor

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for asking.
I am Dr. Prakash HM and I will be answering your query.

Based on your query, my opinion is as follows:

1. Calcium deposits occur in dead tissues or degenerating tissues.
2. It can occur due to previous injury - fat injury of breast tissue - which has caused calcium deposits.
3. Cancers of tissues, as they grow aggressively - will have lots of dead tissue, which can get calcified.
4. Any calcium deposits, will require further evaluation or fine needle aspiration cytology study to identify any possible tumors.
5. If there is no mass felt, possibly breast injury with fat necrosis and calcification could be present. However, further tests results necessary.

Hope it helps.
