What Causes Causes Nausea And Feeling Of Gas After Taking I-pill?

Question: Hi i am 29 female and just sunday took two plan b pills because of a possible rape that occured. It is wednesday an i have had a really bloted feeling today also have a little nause an feels like have to crap but not really just kind of gas can this just be side effects of takin too much emergency contraceptive ? I was actually on second day of period when this allegedly happened to me .

I feel so sorry about you.

Your symptoms are due to side effect of I-pill.

I-pill contains a high dosage of hormone levonorgesterol in it, you had 2 at the same time so side effects may develop.

It will last for 2-3 days, so please do not worry around it.

Meanwhile, you can follow this to relieve your symptoms-

-Hydrate yourself. (drink a lot of water)
- You can take the Pan-D (Pantaprozol and domperidone ) if you needed. it is available over the counter.

Fever may be a coincidental finding.

It can be referable to a viral infection or any other reason and just a coincidental finding.

You can take paracetamol for it. If fever persist, consult your treating physician for the same.

Lethargy can be due to fever and bleeding as well.
