Question: My wife is 37 weeks and 5 days pregnant, after having pain in pelvic(hip)bone area she has got this odourless jellylike discharge without blood before urinating.

The jelly like discharge is cervical mucus. This is normal at a full term pregnancy. Such mild discharge and mild pains in the lower abdomen are normal. These pains and discharge will gradually increase as she will progress into actual labor. Ask her to count the baby fetal movements carefully after taking meals. In case the fetal movements are adequate then you need not worry.
