Question: doctor prescribed xanax for anxiety about 2 days later my heart seems to be beating softer and im alot less stressed is it normal for this to happen

Symptoms you are having are completely normal. Xanax calms down, decrease the heart rate. Person feels more relaxed and yes it causes slight drowsiness too.
