Brief Answer:
Will probably need a biopsy and further evaluation...

Detailed Answer:
Hi Madam,
Welcome to HCM forum.

I have gone through your query and understand your concerns.
I do not think you will need to worry too much about this...

But, to be on the safer side we have to evaluate this further to exclude any undesired pathological changes. A good first step would be if you could take a picture of the mole and upload it to me by using the button on the right side of the screen.

If not, take the picture and email it to YYYY@YYYY and ask the CRM team to upload the picture or pictures to Query ID 154471.

The changes you mentioned cannot be attributed with confidence to scratching alone.

If the mole has characteristics like a size above 6mm, itching, recent changes in morphology (any change in size, shape, margin, contour, color etc) are usually an indication for biopsy of the lesion. So a biopsy of the lesion would be the safest way to make sure that it is not in any way dangerous.

Only a Dermatologist or a good General Physician can carry out such a biopsy though, so you will need to make an appointment to see one face to face if you desire the biopsy.

I look forward to a picture of the lesion and your response.

Hope this will answer your query.
Please be free to ask further questions if any.
Wishing for everything to be fine.
Thank you.
Note: Hope the answers resolves your concerns, however for further guidance of skin related queries consult our Dermatologist.Click here to book a consultation
