Question : Hi,

So, last night I noticed that my areola on both breasts has lost almost all color. I'm 43. Had a tubal in July alone not with removal of Mirena IUD. Could this be hormonal fluctuation or should I see my doc? It was shocking to see the color fade so quickly.

Thanks, XXXXXXX

normal changes with age

Detailed Answer:
Thank you for contacting HCM with your health care concerns

You noticed a change in the color of your areola. This is probably in response to the hormone changes in your body. This is nothing to be concerned about. You do not need to seek medical attention for this condition.

I hope I answered your question. Please contact us again if you have any additional questions
