Brief Answer:
Considerations.

Detailed Answer:
hello and thank you for sending the question.

This is an excellent question. I am most suspicious that you might have some type of esophagitis. This is the medical term which refers to inflammation of the inside of the esophagus. Usually this is due to acid secretion's which create a chronic process of inflammation.

at this point I would recommend that you visit with your primary care physician to make sure this is the case. A good physical examination and consultation will help your doctor make the right decisions for you. Sometimes we use medication to decrease the amount of acid in the stomach and esophagus and it can sometimes help to slowly improve these types of symptoms and possibly prevent them from happening again.

Thanks again for sending your question. Please visit with your primary care provider to discuss. If you have additional concerns please let us know.
