Question : I had a stress test at 62 three years ago and all was was fine. EKG Next year and all fine. I have chest pains while exercising, even with brisk walk that I can minimize with tums and Ranitidine. I am 6-2 and 225. When I am at 1999 people wonder if I am sick. I have never weighed less than 195 as an adult and ran marathons at this weight. My parents, both smokers did of heart attack/disease at 48 (f) and 66(M). Concerned because paid can sometimes radiate to upper arms.

I read your query and understood your concerns.

Your symptoms aren't typical for cardiac issues, however you should contact your cardiologist to plan to do some examinations to find out exactly what is causing your symptoms.

My opinion is that your symptoms are more likely to be associated with gastrointestinal problems.

If you were my patient I would recommend to do the following examinations :
- blood work
- ecg
- cardiac echo
- stress test
- chest xray
- abdominal ultrasound
- upper endoscopy
