Question: I have bad chest pains, and have a hard time doing deep breaths, what's the problem?

Thanks for your query.

Chest pains and difficulty in deep breathing can be secondary to acid peptic disease like hyperacidity or gastro esophageal reflux disease (GERD).

Do try a course of antacids like pantoprazole for a week, to get relieved.

Only when you have cough associated with above symptoms , lung pathologies can be suspected.
