recently came down with chills after being out in freezind rain feel like I am at low ebb Dr said it should pass in about week taking flonaize and Promethazine to help cough and rest better at night is their any home remedies I can do in the meantime

Hi,

You can rely safely on a table spoon of honey with every bout of dry cough. It helps.
Similarly I frequently recommend hot ginger tea to my patients who suffer from mucus and cough.
Stay away from cool water and always prefer freshly made hot food during this time.
