What Causes Chills, Body Pain, Cold Feeling In Feet And Gums Infection?

Question: I had came on my menstrual cycle . on the 1st, and any other time I am ok I have the cramps and all, but sunday night I had got chills and my body was hurting so bad and my feet was so cold that they felt numb, I was so cold and shaking that I could not do anything but lay down because it was so bad so I had to wrap up in a cover plenty of them until I went to sleep. then I broke into a sweat. but I'm wondering if it's this antibiotic that I have to let dissolve in my mouth for this tooth I have that had gotten ,a fungal infection on the gum where the tooth is that I have a wisdom tooth underneath it which made the tooth shift also. I look up if I had toxic syndrome but the systoms was not that. so I want to know what the cause and what you think it could be, and I'm also a diabetic and my sugar level was good and everything else.

Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
Did you measure your temperature at this time ?
It is possible that the chills was due to the infection in the tooth.
I do not think it is toxic shock syndrome, since that would be pretty serious.
SInce Sunday, have you had such symptoms afterwards ?
IF it was just once in a while, you can ignore it.
Is it possible that the blood sugar levels dropped ?
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Take care.
