can be due to a viral infection
Detailed Answer:
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic
The chills, sweats , headache, fatigue , abdominal pain are all linked. IN viral or bacterial infections, some of the symptoms may precede the others.
It is possible that you may have a viral infection of the gastrointestinal tract. This is more common than bacterial infection. Both can be associated with these symptoms.
You may develop nausea, vomiting or diarrhea, loss of appetite.
Using probiotics may help, they do for some persons. They can be used on their own or in yogurts with probiotics.
Pain killers such as tylenol may help the pain. If you get any stomach upset, you may want to avoid meds such as naproxen, cataflam or ibuprofen which may cause stomach upset in some persons.
Rest and fluids would also be important.
If you do get vomiting or diarrhea, meds such as peptobismol or dramamine (for vomiting) would help.
If vomiting or diarrhea do occur, you would need to stop solid food till there is a 4 hours window with no symptoms.
I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
