What Causes Choking Sensation And Belching Feeling After Having Food?

I got my purse and was trying to get my husband to take me to the hospital which you can see from my house, and we have a f35o truck. 4wheel drive, and when i got in, maybe jumping in and setting down, not sure, it seemed to subside a bit. we went on to the hospital and just hung out a little but i was a lot better. I am now about afraid to eat. sipping water. Thankful to be alive and not feeling like I am choking. I take Synthroid and it seems like the longer I go with out much food the more indigestion I will have. I had 2 little pizzas about the sz of a hamburger bun for lunch with mushrooms, black olives, pepperoni, cheeze. so idk what is happening. drank a coke with that.

Thank you for asking
I read your question and i understand your concern. The choking sensation and belching feeling could probably due to irritation of fauces of throat which results in spasm and leads to choking symptoms. papaya spears seeds or its rough nature specially dry papaya spears may cause it. If you don't have any allergies to such products there is nothing to worry about. it happens to the very best of us. I can understand the anxiety and not being able to drink a sip of water as worries to get the symptoms to recur.
As far as this indigestion and bloating symptoms are concerned , i believe your these dietary adventures and westernised foods like pizzas and cheese products might have a role in it. Natural and fresh fruits and balanced meal with minimal processed and canned products and reduced fet and dairy products can solve the indigestion and belching problem.
Nut shell, just slightly modify your diet and lifestyle and no worries about this choking episodes. If it happens again your husnad shold knwo the heimlech's maneuver. Any thing stuck can be easily got rid of. Youtube this maneuver and you will learn a complete training of it. No worries at all.
I hope it helps. take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.

Thank you for sharing your experience with me!
This explains it further. As i said it happens to the very best of us sometimes. And also your need to change your dietary preferences and prefer more vegetables and fresh products to prevent such troubles. Just keep calm. it happens sometimes. You should just know like your father how to combat this thing.
If you feel like it is happening too often you can always get evaluated for dysphagia and motility disorders and see if there is any underlying issue but i don't think there would be any as in that case every day and every single bite is a problem not some random out of the blue episodes of choking.
You shall feel better soon and consider what i suggested regarding dietary preferences.
take care
