Question: my brother had an ear infection recently........now he is choking up mustard colored granule type particles....and has a smell coming from his scalp and facial hair......he feels tired,upset stomach...........what is going on.........

Hi dear.Thanks for your query.

As per your description I were to suspect ear infection and associated with pus formation which ooze out intermittently, thus smelling bad.

Tiredness and has stomach upset indicates that the infection has spread to the body.I would examine his ear, start empirical antibiotic therapy (Tab.Amoxacillin/clavulanic acid) and send the pus for culture sensitivity test.
Consult an ENT surgeon without further delay.
