i get pain in chest rib area all the time at one specific spot no dry eyes or mouth i have experienced alittle memory problems but nothing terible. i have moderate stress between work and home but nothing out of the ordinary. iv never really had sinus or alergy problems before. loose stool on occasion but not often and the last blood test was about 2
months ago it was for something to do with inner ear and lyme also tsh test with cbc all normal. my biggest issue is this constant dizzy numbness feeling in head makes it hard to focus. sometimes make me feel l8ke fainting. occasional shortness of breath but thats completely random. i can go to the gym work out real hard and never have a issue but then i could be walking threw my house and feel like i cant catch my breath. the best way i can describe the dizziness is if i would breath really fast it is like a lightheaded feeling

Sorry for the late reply. Was caught up in hospital shift

Well I feel we really need to exclude any organic cause of dizziness. The dizziness usually comes from brain or from the inner ear( Vestibular Apparatus) or rarely the neck. Considering you have had an ear infection along with persistent dizziness, I would suggest you to consult your doctor and get an MRI of brain done. Let your neurologist examine you and see if he can figure out any signs due to brain involvement. We need to rule out any pathological cause before labeling it as functional. Considering young age, sometimes it is very common to have Cerbello-pontine lesions which can present in the way you are experiencing the symptoms.

Hope the information was useful

Well yes, the waxing and waning can be a part of any organic cause as well. The symptoms of hyperacusis( intolerance to louder sounds) and along with dizziness does call for the need to investigate for Inner ear pathology.

1 Month is a pretty long time. But make sure you schedule an appointment with an ENT and a neurologist as well. So, at least a common diagnosis can be reached without wasting further time.

If you can get your hands on Stugeron or Vertin( Betahistine) you can try that for a few days . These medications help increase the blood flow to the inner ear and may help you with some relief of symptoms.

Hope the information was useful. But i do want to rule out CP angle lesion

Good evening

Meneirs disease is more of a dumping diagnosis in ENT. It is labelled as meniers once you have ruled out all other causes of Inner ear pathology which are giving you such symptoms. The treatment for meniers is not so difficult with Betahistine being the drug of choice.

I can say it can be due to anxiety as well, but once you label as patient with anxiety you tend to overlook lot of things and we may miss the actual cause. From what your personality seems like, it may not be all due to anxiety. Never the less, i would like to rule out any Inner ear and Brain cause before treating it as a functional etiology.

So whenever you visit your doctor, make sure they look at both the possible etiology
