Question: I have several conditions that exit I will try to stay simple At age 4, I had an appendecitus attack late in the day and through the night while uncontrollable my mother walked and held me to no avail. When morning came and the Dr was in my mother called and we were told to come to the office immediately and upon review we were rushed to the hosipital for emergency surgery. I remember being straped down and wheeled into the operating room where instruments and voices were busy at work and soon a XXXXXXX SUN light was over me and I was told to count backwards from 10 Alternatively the screaming and crying forced me to take either in and then all was dark and gone. I awoke to the silence in recovery and heard someone calling me XXXXXXX XXXXXXX Janie? Soon there were several people around preparing me for another room. I came home after a week unable to get out of bed and told to stay still. Upon our post op visit it was discovered that I had 2 hernias and that I would need further surgery in one month. I remained in bed for three months and to this day I have undergone 28 surgeries (mainly abdominal) and today I live in chronic pain with 5 diseases at 63. I have 3 children (all healthy) and am divorced

Brief Answer:
Poor alignment and closure of abdominal wall post surgery.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks choosing HealthcareMagic for your query.
Have gone through your details and i appreciate your concerns.
I can understand the level of frustration you must be feeling and i am really sorry for that.
See after going through your narration i feel that your hernias were likely due to the poor closure of your abdominal wall after operation appendicetomy.
There are several layers of wall of abdomen and they have to be sutured carefully annd tightly one after the other to prevent any herniation of organs.

Please specify the name of the diseases and the treatment you have recieved till date for pain so that i can understand things better and could give you a good professional advice.

Waiting!
