Brief Answer:
Bowels obstruction should be ruled out.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

Any abdominal surgery can be a reason of adhesions in abdominal cavity. Adhesions in some cases can cause bowels narrowing and bowels obstruction.
It is very important to determine if you do suffer from constipation (slow stool passage not caused by any obstacle) or partial bowels obstruction due to intestine narrowing.
Constipation usually do not cause abdominal pain. And for sure this pains are not unbearable.
Partial bowels obstruction can be the reason of unbearable pain. Such pain is usually cramp like. Bloating, nausea and temporal gas obstruction are also characteristic for this issue.

Before any treatment, bowels obstruction needs to be ruled out. To do that, I suggest you to consult gastroenterologist, have abdominal X-ray at first and (if this test will be negative) get scheduled for abdominal CT with oral contrast (enteroclysis). In a meanwhile, gastroscopy should be done to see how your stomach looks like after the surgery.

Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.

Brief Answer:
There is no way to help with it without surgery

Detailed Answer:

You are welcome

Unfortunately there is not much you can do to make the narrowing better. Not much can be done to stop adhesion creation either. This process cannot be controlled with medicines or diet. If an obstruction will be confirmed only surgery can help.
