Question : My son has clear stools for 3 weeks. If he takes a laxitive the stools are brown. But afterwards they become clear again.
Brief Answer:
Frequent bowel movements/cholecyst issues...
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
I have gone through the medical history of your son carefully and am sorry for the situation he is in.
Having clear stool might be related to:
- frequent bowel movements (how many times/day he is having bm)?
- cholecyst problems (sludge? stones? inflammation/infection?)
I advise to get further tests to find out the right diagnosis:
- abdominal ultrasound
- examination of stool for ova/parasites
- culture of stool
Hope it helped!
