default
Posted on Mon, 7 Jul 2014
Question: Hi, my six year old has cloudy yellow urine. Is there something to be worried about? He urinates about 7-9 or 10 times a day, but seems like small amounts. about 35-65 ml . he doesn't get up at the night to go and never wets the bed. In the morning he can urinate about 200 ml. Should he be urinating more at a time during the day?

Brief Answer:
To rule out urinary tract infecion

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day,

Increased frequency of urination with only passage of small quantity of urine associated with cloudy urine, possibility of Urinary tract infection needs to be considered and ruled out.

Urinary tract infection could be one of the cause, in the absence of fever its unlikely to be serious. I would suggest you to get a Urine routine and microscopic examination done.

Do get back to me if you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Take Care
