Question : Hi im just wondering if i might have diabeties. Im only 18 and im terrified! I am only a few pounds overweight, and the only symptoms i've really noticed is a bit of an annoying cloudy vision. (I dont wear glasses and this has been recent. No pain noticed) About a year ago i had my blood tested and they said i was fine! Im not sure whats going on. From time to time ill urinate more than usual in a day but its not frequent just random..i know it may be me freaking out but i'm just curious if those symptoms are to be of any concern. Thank you!

Brief Answer:
Investigations necessary for diagnosis

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

Though symptoms of diabetes include polyuria, polydipsia and polyphagia. Symptoms alone are never enough for a conclusive diagnosis. Fasting blood sugar, HBA1C , post prandial blood sugar levels can be done, in consultation with your doctor, if you are concerned about diabetes.

Let me know if you have any query

Wishing you best of health
