Question: I had rotator cuff surgery on feb 25 14 and I had a full thickness tear and bone spur on ac joint and debriding of
clavical ac joint. Ive been in PT since 4 2 14 and it has been diffic
ult to get full range of motion at 8 weeks
during pt I had a clunking of shoulder, with severe pain radiating down arm to to forearm , wrist, and fingers
what caused that and should I suspend PT for a while should I call the Dr who did the surgery

I have studied your problem and I understand your concern.
Clunking sound during PT is not a good sign, it could mean a tear or a bone hitting another bone which should not happen ideally.
If the pain increased after this, then you should immediately talk to your surgeon and you will probably need an X-Ray or other imaging to see everything is fine.
Apply ice over the shoulder for pain relief and it is a good idea to suspend PT till you get an all clear from your surgeon.
