Brief Answer:
Sumatriptan can be tried

Detailed Answer:
Hello

My name is Dr Muhammad Ali Rauf & i will look into your problem.

I have gone through your query and would try to help you in the best possible way. First line drug therapy indicated for cluster headache is usually triptans with metoclopromide. They provide quick and long term effect. Midrin contains acetaminophen which is less strong analgesic. As in your case it is not giving desirable effects so i would suggest you to discuss the use of triptans (sumatriptan) with your treating doctor. As it is a prescription medication so you will have to contact your primary doctor. Besides that following general measures will also reduce the incidence:
> Avoid:
- disturbance in sleep cycle
- stress & anxiety
- Excessive physical activity
> Ask some family member to give you massage on head with oil. It gives soothing effect.

Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!
