Question : Iam on 40mg of propranolol but last night only took 20mg this morning ive woke up feeling very sick very cold diarioh could this be cause i didnt take the full

No, propanolol won't cause these symptoms. Underside can cause palpitations

Does propranolol take a while to get in to the blood system to see the full affects ive been on it 5days todays

hello and welcome to HCM, thanks for writing in to is with ur query. propanolol acts with in 8-12 hours of taking as oral dose. the main effect is to reduce the heart rate and decreasing the symptoms of anxiety. Can I know for what purpose you were prescribed this drug . regards Dr Manisha Jain
