Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX XXXX,
Thanks for the query. I have read it & understand your concern.
Your mother is lucky to have a caring daughter like you. I would suggest few things to help you sort out the present issue of her health.
- Low thyroid/ pituitary hormone levels can lead to cold intolerance. An Endocrinologist's consultation with few pathological tests would note the conditions .. followed by specific treatment to get rid of the problem.
- Low appetite/ lack of proper eating can lead to low glucose level, low blood pressure.. fatigue, exhaustion & excessive cold . Frequent & small dietary servings ( which are nourishing & light to digest )can take care. A condition like Anorexia nervosa ( with severe weight loss & lack of food intake )needs physicians advise & specific care,
- Looking at her age .. she needs a through physical check up & few cancer detection tests to exclude malignancy .
- Psychological depression can have such symptom.. needs self care in form of meditation/ positive thoughts/ an enjoyable activities & company of similar age group / some sitting games( cross word, playing cards, reading clubs, TV serials etc.A psychological counselor may help.
* I hope you find the answer to be informative & useful. If you have any follow up queries.. please feel free to ask.
Thanks.
