Brief Answer:
it is treatable condition

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.

Yes, this is indeed liver metastatic disease. Howver, there are options. As your doc has outlined, FOLFIRI + avastin is a good combo to start with. After few cycles, another PET-CT to assess response and decide on surgery. Maybe the liver lesions will be operable after few cycles. But this depends on lot of factors, the size and number (as seen on images), location of the mets, etc. As both lobes are involved, it is a bit borderline scenario but not impossible.

We also need to get Kras mutation tested, as then we can have another targeted option in hand (cetuximab/panitumumab).

Regarding managing the cycles, you need to take home-cooked diet, fruits and vegetables to be washed well. Maintain enough calories and protein in diet. Maintain oral hygiene with appropriate mouth washes as advised. Not to strain during stools and take laxatives to soften the stools. Rest take everything as it comes, eg diarrhea, fever, etc. Your doc will give necesary emergency medicines in case required.

You seem to be tolerating well, hence not to worry too much.

Hope I have answered your query. I will be available to answer further followup queries, if any.
