What Causes Constant Bad Breath And Acid Reflux?
Question: hey,
I've been having bad breath since 1 year. I've been to a dentist and he has told that nothing's wrong with my mouth. Its just from the throat. I feel mucous stuck in the throat that is causing the bad breath. I can't take it out. Help me out. I've been to ENT specialist recently and he told that I might be having an infection in my sinusitis. He prescribed to wash my nose with physiomer nasal cleaner solution. I did use for 10 days and I don't find any difference. I went back to him and he asked me to conitune cleaning my nose with salt water. Its been 3 days . I have no progress. Do you think its due to sinusitis? or some problem in my stomach?? As per the Ent doctor's suggestion,I went to a gastreoenterologist and he prescribed me veloz-20 for acid reflux. He asked me to use this for 2 weeks. I'm currenlty using this. I just want to know if this works?? Am I missing our something?

Feeling of something stuck in the throat is called globus. Some of the common causes are sinusitis with post-nasal drip , gastroesophageal reflux (GERD).
Nasal endoscopy and CT scan of the post nasal sinuses may be done to look for sinusitis.
If it is due to GERD, you will find good relief with Veloz 20.
A dry mouth is also a common cause of bad breath. Avoid mouth breathing and drink enough fluids to remain well hydrated. A moist tongue indicates good hydration.
Meanwhile you can also take mint for good breath.
