What Causes Constant Burping, Loss Of Appetite And Indigestion While Treating H-pylori Infection?

She is suffering from digestive issues for the last 1 and half year. We have taken her to Gasentrologist and last year in May 2015, doctor performed Endoscopy and EUS . Everything was normal except for H-pylori bacteria. Doctors suggested that no need to treat Hpylori if it does not bother her. But we still did it with a combination of Prev-pac with 3 drugs clarithomycin, prilosec and flagyl. She could not continue with the 3 strong drugs and after 8 days we have to stop it . Since then her gas problem became worst. We took her back to gasentrologsit,,,they suggested over the counter probiotics medication and yogurt etc. Her recent blood work is normal. Her H-pylori bacteria still exist. We are even trying to consult Homeopathic doctors from XXXXXXX Also tried vedic medications. Doctors of XXXXXXX origin suggested that she basically could not take the strong treatment of H-pylori and it may had irritated other bacterias in her stomach. Now, every 2 days she is having constant burping and loss of apetite and indigestion. Patient best fits XXXXXXX medication. What kind of XXXXXXX medication we can bring in from XXXXXXX to resolve this problem? it seems like the gas medications from USA is not working on her. I NEED A SECOND OPINION.
Thanks

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read carefully all her concerns and I can say as follows :
1.You are reporting that all her symptoms have been started after antibiotic treatment for H.Pylori infection.
This is why I strongly suspect on following situations:
- misbalance of bacterial gut after antibiotics
- candida overgrowth as a side effect of antibiotics
- SIBO ( small intestinal bacterial overgrowth )
2.If I were your treating doctor I would suggest to do:
- stool test for candida overgrowth to rule out /confirm it.
- hydrogen breath test for SIBO.
3.Meantime I recommend to :
- use plenty of water
- use probiotics (PB8 in india)more than 4 weeks
- avoid foods that produce gas like broccoli and beans.
- eat slowly and avoid swalloing air
- use simethicone like gasspass in XXXXXXX
Hope it was helpul to you!

Detailed Answer:
Hi back
If the tested that I suggest come positive than the patient should start the proper treatment with antibiotics in cases of SIBo and with anti fungal treatment is cases of candida overgrowth .
There are a lot of natural treatments for candida overgrowth like grapefruit seed extract, olive leaf tea, honey with baking soda.
With regards to the treatment suggest by the other doctor, iladac is an PPIs treatment and will help to reduce acidity and abdominal discomfort and the other is probiotics. You can continue to use them.
hope it was helpful to you.
