Question : Hi.. Something is there in my left eye from some days back.. it does not irritate the whole time round.. but during sometimes of the day, specially at night. And even after washing the eye, rubbing both eyes nothing has happened. It is now getting irritating. Can u please recommend something?

My dear
thanks for sending your query to us.
There are various spots in the eye whete a small foreign body may be lodged and they are difficult to dislodge. Before moving ahead you may be examined by a trained person to determine if there is a foreign body.If such facility is not available then you can ask any friend to examine the black of the eye and evert the eye lid and see if a particle is lodged there.
If no paticle is seen then you need lubricant eye drops 4-5times a day to relieve the symptoms.

The particle cannot be seen. Tried several times. Can u recommend some eye drop for the same?

My dear,
, Thanksfor getting back to us.
As I have already mentioned there are lubricant eye drops available in the market by the name of Tears naturale, Refresh tears eye drops, ccs eye drop which can be put in 5-6times a day and in cases where there is no foreign body these are supposed to give quick relief.
still an examination by an expert is mandatory to rule out a particle.
The drops I mentioned are safe even for a long period of time.
