Question : Intense pain behind my right ankle. feels like a bruise but no visible sign or swelling. started yesterday and pain has become a constant ache.

Possible vein thrombosis

This may be small vein thrombosis and you should apply heparin gel,rest,apply elastic compresses and rest. If there is pain progression and swelling present,you should do Doppler ultrasound to rule out deep vein thrombor. Wish you good health. Regards
