After going through your query I concluded that you may be suffering from cervical spondylitis with neurological pains as it is common in your age. It is degenerative arthritis of spine related to the aging. It can be confirmed by x ray.
It's treatment consist of:-
1. Diacerine and glucosamine, prevents degenerative process and promote regeneration of cartilage.
2. Analgesic such as ibuprofen are needed for pain relief.
3. Mecobalamin is helpful in relieving neurological pains.
4. Heat fomentation is soothing.
5. It is advisable to use thin pillow for sleeping or no pillow at all.
