Question : My 42-yr-old nephew's wife (they live out in Salem/very rural Arkansas) has been experiencing what she believes to be gall bladder problems. And it's getting worse by the day. She doesn't know where to turn, so any help/recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks for reading this.

Sincerely,

Brief Answer:
It is impossible to be sure about the exact cause for the pain. A visit to a doctor is a must.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to healthcaremagic.com

I have gone through your query and understand the issue.

However, it is not possible to diagnose the problem without a complete physical examination.

A pain in the tummy could be due to many causes, in my opinion, a visit to a PCP would be the right thing to do.

Meanwhile, she can take Omeprazole+Domperidone (These are the generic names, and generic drugs work as effectively as the branded ones), available over the counter, twice a day.

Avoid eating fatty/oily and fried foods.
Eat at regular intervals.
Stop drinking alcohol and coffee.

I hope this helps, please write back to me if you need any clarification.

Wishing you and your nephew good health.

Best regards
