Brief Answer:
Kindly provide the following details

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

Thanks for your query.

I have gone through the case history and the picture of your right hand as attached to your post.

First of all, the area showing the depression is not the region of "carpal tunnel".

Regarding the symptoms as being experienced by you, kindly let us know about the following:
1. Is the pain located only in the region of depression or involves the entire wrist joint and fingers?
2. Is the depression present since birth or acquired now and progressing in size?
3. How did the symptoms start & since how many days is it present?
4. Is it associated with tingling, numbness/ loss of sensation, etc. in the fingers? If yes, then which all fingers are involved?
5. Any recent history of acute illness or injury to the wrist joint?
6. Any past history of Hypertension, Diabetes or Thyroid disorder, etc.?
7. Any association with stress, food intake, sleep disturbance or travel?
8. Habit of smoking or alcohol consumption?
9. History of recent or prolonged intake of any medication?
10. Any other associated symptoms?

A knowledge of the above mentioned facts will be helpful to make a better diagnosis and formulate an appropriate management plan.

Wishing you a good health.
Take care.

Hello Dr Polash, The pain is exactly from the bone below the depression towards the wrist and is limited to that part of the bone and not the wrist itself, I cant seem to recollect but does seem like at least 2 yrs,I don't feel pain in my fingers but only when my wrist is in the right angle position, Had a tendon stretch after lifting weights when moving in September 2014,Lift my 2 yr old toddler frequently, No smoking, occasionalcasual drinkinghope this helps

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

Thanks for your follow up query and detailed history.

The pain is attributable to musculo-skeletal etiology, most probably recurrent dislocation of the small bone in the hand.
The appearance of pain on attaining certain posture of the hand as well as lifting weights is suggestive of that.

Clinical examination is important for diagnosis, so I will advise you to consult your Doctor/ Orthopedician for a proper clinical examination.
An X ray of the hand & wrist joint (both in normal position as well flexed at right angles) will be helpful in clinching the diagnosis.

Till then, symptomatic relief can be achieved with application of analgesic and muscle relaxant gel.
In addition, multivitamins (like Vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, Folic acid) as well as multimineral supplements including iron, calcium & Vitamin D needs to be added in your diet.

Wishing you a Good Health.
Take care.
