What Causes Constant Pain In The Hip, Groin Muscles And Thigh?

default
Posted on Thu, 4 Apr 2019
Question: Hello:
I had a bilateral TKR 3 years ago. Right thigh and knee has remained swollen. The past few weeks my Right hip has become painful as well as my groin muscle and thigh. I cannot abduct my leg at the moment. All areas associated with getting into the driver's side of a car are painful.

Any ideas? :)

Thank you

Brief Answer:
You need to get x-rays of the hip joint.

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

Pain in the hip joint is not usual. I would suggest you get X rays of the hip joint. Please share those x-rays with me. I think you are having hip arthritis. Because of these hip movements like sitting in a car or sitting in the toilet becomes problematic. I am waiting for your hip x-rays.

Hope I have answered your query.
