What Causes Constant Productive Cough, Mucus In Ears, Eyes And Stool?

default
Posted on Wed, 15 Jun 2016
Question: For almost a year I have been suffering with this thick, fibrous saliva, that seems to come from the back of my throat. I cough and spit all day and night. I can pull it up with my tongue or use a small paint brush to pull it up and spit out. My tongue can feel what seems to be the top end of the esophagus which seems to be surrounded by long bone like ends. It is sore and this thick glue like substance seems to be in my ears, my nose, eyes and throat.mEven my stools seem to be wrapped with this thick, fibrous wrapping. Any idea what this might be?

Brief Answer:
Possible side effects of Tudorza...

Detailed Answer:
Hi my dear,

I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concern.

From the data you provided, I noted that you are using Tudorza, an anticholinergic prescribed to control bronchospasm in COPD. I believe this is the diagnosis for which you were prescribed this medication.

Usually, their use is associated with dry mouth or fibrous saliva ( very thick). I advise to talk with your doctor and report this side effect to him/ her on order to reconsider therapy changes.

Keep good oral hygiene meanwhile.
Hope it helps.
