What Causes Constant Stomach Cramps Radiating To Back, Pelvic Area And Legs?

Question: I have constant cramps( or inflamation) in my belly which radiates to the muscles in my back and pelvic/ waist area and then heavy legs from my waist down especilly in the early morning or after meals sometimes making walking painful and difficult .Sudden grips-like electric shocks down my waist to my legs lasting few seconds. MRI?CAT scan came back positive. what condition is this and can i be treated?

I read your question and i understand your concern. Pain in musculoskeletal structures with radiation to legs and difficulty to walk are likely related to nerve compression at lumbar and sacral area. You need an MRI to sort out and localise the place of nerve compressions.

At age of 61, painkillers, exercises, conservative therapies, physiotherapies etc and good posture maintenance will help the symptoms. The doctor may suggest epidural steroid injections if need be. Talk to your pain management expert and let them help you in this regard.
