What Causes Constant Stomach Pain On Right Side Below Ribs?

Question: I have been having constant stomach pain on the right side below the ribs. Have done blood test and ecography (scan) but all came out negative. I have acid reflux and I have been taking Lucen ( a type of 0meprazol) all these years.
I 've done endoscopy and the result is normal. I am hepatitis B positive but I am told it will have no effect on my liver because my body is able to resist any infection. Infact i cannot quote the exact medical term. I still have this pain but my general practitional does't know what to do next. Can you please suggest any other medical examination that will be helpful. Thanks

Brief Answer:
Schedule colonoscopy....
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I have gone through your medical history carefully and understood your concerns.
Having constant pain on the right side below the ribs might be related to:
- IBS
- colitis
I need to know if you have noted any change in your bowel movements recently: diarrhea? constipation? alternating?
From what you are describing, I'd advise to schedule colonoscopy to evaluate the changes in the colon mucosa as long as ultrasound resulted negative (including for gallbladder problems).
Hope it was of help!

No, I have not experienced bowel changes. I have neither diarrhea nor constipation. I have recently had stool test for bowel cancer and it's negative.
I will tell my doctor to let me have colonscopy as advised. thanks
