Question : Hello Doctor,I am on regestrone tablet since two days to delay my periods of 5 days. Since two days I am feeling constipated .Is this because of the tablet if yes what should I do ?

It is not because of regesterone.

Hello dear,
Thanks for trusting hcm about your health care.
I can understand your concerns.
Regesterone is a progesterone hormone and usually causes diarrhoea not constipation.
If you are having constipation you should drink a lot of water, eat more whole wheat products, less carbohydrate and low fat diet, eat lots of fruits and vegetables and you can take isabgul husk with warm milk in night.
