Brief Answer:
Hello dear. It may require evaluation
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear. Welcome to HCM. So constipation and alteration of bowel habits if persisting for a long , requires evaluation at your age. This should include a colonoscopy examination.
If everything is normal, then you should start on a high fibre rich diet including lots of fruits and veggies, drink plenty of fluids, avoid red meat and exercise daily.
For temporary relief, stool softeners drugs like bisacodyl, picosulfate, or lactitol will help.
Thanks and regards
