Posted on Tue, 7 Oct 2014
Question: Hello Doctor, I am 35 yrs. old male. I'm having constipation since childhood. I do not get motion in the morning. I drink about two litrs. of water every morning and take one or two cups of tea to get the feeling of motion. I eat one apple every day. Other seasonal fruits as well. Also eat green vegetables. Any time of the day whenever feel comfortable I consume Psyllium Husk in warm water. Also drink one glass of milk everyday. Also if i had an unsatisfactory or an incomplete bowl movement in the morning by putting in all efforts, i do not get the feeling of the second motion all thru the day. Pls tell me the way out to get the proper motion every morning. As this is affecting my personal and professional life both.

Hi,
To rule out hirschsprung's disease please get an 'Ano-rectal Manometry' done as well as a colonoscopy, colonic transit study and M.R.I.Defecography.
