What Causes Continuous Watering Of Eyes After An Injury?

It is not normal and requires evaluation.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to Health care magic.
I am Dr. Dadapeer K, an ophthalmologist and I will be answering your question.
I reviewed your history.
It seems from the history that you are having swollen black eye following fall over bedpost.
Black eye is because of collection of blood in the layers of skin of eyelid.
This is a benign condition and will resolve over 1-2 weeks.
Presence of watering and pain on movement of the eye requires evaluation to look for injury to the eye and the nerves which supply the extra ocular muscles.
If possible do send a photo of the affected eye so that I can have a look and advice you more accurately.
Hence watering and eye pain on movement is not normal and requires evaluation.
Hope the information is helpful to you.
Thank you
With regards

The injury appears to be severe and require evaluation.

Hello
Welcome to Health care magic.
Thank you for the follow up question.
I reviewed your history and the photo attached with the question.
It seems from the photo that the bruise is severe and the injury should be a significant one.
This requires examination of the eye to rule out inflammation caused by injury and damage to ocular structures and to the extraocular muscles.
If there are vision related problems like blurring of vision, double vision... you need to consult your doctor for examination immediately.
If there are no vision related problems then you can use analgesic drugs and cold compression for pain and symptomatic relief and with appointment you need to consult your ophthalmologist.
Do get back to me with the examination reports.
Hope the information is helpful to you.

No need to worry as vision is fine.

Hello
Welcome to Health care magic.
Thank you for the follow up.
The injury looked significant one as I had thought. Orbital fractures by themselves does not require correction until unless there are associated problems like double vision, cosmetical disfigurement like sunken eye....
The bleeding behind the eye will improve slowly as the blood gets absorbed.
Since the vision is not involved no need to worry, you will be fine.
If by chance you have any symptoms like double vision, sunken eye, restriction of eye movements then intervention is required. otherwise no need to worry.
Hope this is helpful to you.
Thank you
