Brief Answer:
No, its not a serious issue.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for the follow up.

Corn is a thickened skin which develops with excess frequent friction or pressure. It is not a serious issue except that it can cause severe pain and can grow deep into the tissues.

If it is a small corn, it would be the best time to get it treated. For this you need to see a General Surgeon who will advise you to use a corn cap for a week and would excise the corn later or would excise it directly depending on the doctor.

You can see any general surgeon nearby your place or a known doctor to you, your family or relatives will do.

Hope this answers your query. If any further clarifications, will be happy to help you.

Regards.
