Question : What does calcification in a main artery mean? I have pain on by right side closer to the back. Cat scan shows calcification in a main artery

A calcification in a main arteries mean that you have a calcified plaque on the main arteries that block the normal blood flow on that artery.

CAT scan is a specific examination that detect calcification of arteries, but the most specific examination for the evaluation of calcification in a main arteries is angiography.

However, I would like to check by myself the results of cat scan. Can you upload the requested data?
